ARM work in 2024: results, progress and priorities for 2025

During a summary meeting, the Material Reserves Agency, operating under the coordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, presented its activity throughout 2024, highlighting the constant efforts of its dedicated team to ensure the efficient and responsible management of state reserves.

The main objectives focused on replenishing reserves, improving process efficiency, and building a solid and adaptable system aimed at responding promptly to citizens’ needs and the challenges of the current times.

Throughout 2024:

• state reserves were replenished to 80%, while for strategic goods – such as agri-food products, energy resources, or those necessary for emergency situations – the coverage level reached approximately 90%;
• through efficient process management, savings were achieved, ensuring that available resources were used responsibly;
• the legal and institutional framework was improved, enabling the Agency to better respond to the current and future needs of the state.

Priorities for 2025 include:

• strengthening strategic management for more efficient planning;
• implementing the recommendations of the Court of Accounts to enhance transparency and integrity;
• continuing efforts to maintain a high level of reserves and ensure the proper functioning of the institution.

The Minister appreciated the dedication and efforts of the team, emphasizing the importance of their work for the safety and well-being of citizens.
